Mr. Marcel Valdez,
President
Mr. Valdez is employed as County Extension Agent-Agriculture and Natural Resources-Texas Cooperative Extension, Zavala County. Mr. Valdez majored in Agricultural Education and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, College Station. He is a member of the Texas Association of School Boards-Advocacy Network, Rio Grande Nueces Rural Conservation and Development Council, Southwest Texas Junior College Board of Trustees, Texas County Agriculture Agents Association-Ways and Means Committee and National Association of County Agricultural Agents. Mr. Valdez is currently serving as President of the Board.

R. Lopez, Board Member
Mr. Jesse R. Lopez has served on the Board for over twenty-five years. He is employed as a Production Operator. Mr. Lopez attended the La Pryor Independent School District and Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde. During his tenure, Mr. Lopez has served in the capacity of Board President, Vice-President, and Board Member.

Ricardo Lopez, Board Member
Mr. Ricardo Lopez is employed by Texas Department of Transportation in Uvalde as a mechanic. Mr. Lopez is a La Pryor High School graduate and received his A.A. in Auto Mechanics from Southwest Texas Junior College. He is a life long resident of La Pryor, Texas and has been a great supporter of education.

Alejandro Perez, Secretary
Mr. Alejandro Perez retired December 31, 2004 as a teacher/coach. Mr. Perez attended La Pryor Independent School District, Southwest Texas Junior College (A.A.), Texas A&I University (B.S.), and Sul Ross State University, Alpine(M.Ed.).He is a firm believer of community involvement and youth development in sports.

Luis Ramirez, Board Member
Mr. Jose Luis Ramirez is employed as an A&P mechanic. Mr. Ramirez attended Uvalde High School and Southwest Texas Junior College. Mr. Ramirez is actively involved in community youth sports.

Martha Medina, Board Member
Mrs. Martha Medin is employed as an office manager with the Texas Department of Transportation in La Pryor. Mrs. Medina attended the La Pryor Independent School District and Southwest Texas Junior College.
