Bulldogs Open District With Win Over Center Point

The La Pryor Bulldogs began the District 30-A race with a 54-6 win over the Center Point Pirates. The Bulldogs scored 4 touchdowns in the first quarter to take control of the game early. Sage Granado scored on runs of 2 and 26 yards, Israel scored on a 10 yard run and Lucas Lopez returned a fumble 70 yards. Peter Mancias kicked 2 extra points and Joshua Balderas ran a 2 point conversion to give the Bulldogs a 28-0 lead after one quarter.    The second quarter saw Israel Medina pass 16 yards to Arturo Perez for one touchdown and Sage Granado score his third touchdown of the night on a 10 yard run.
