Area Scholarship Candidates

Five FFA seniors recently traveled to the Area X convention to participate in the area activities and scholarship interviews. Three individuals, Nicole Moore, Janita Jessee and Eric Perez interviewed for the fifteen thousand dollar scholarship, which is given to individuals that have excelled in a FFA program and giving up relentless hours of unselfish time to the program and their families. Members that receive such high honors contribute time to community service, LDE, CDE and animal projects throughout their high school years. Illiana Salazar and Nicole Moore interviewed for the Ryan Mott Scholarship which is given to one individual that has overcome adversities in their lives and Vanessa Sambrano attended all the convention meetings and represented La Pryor FFA during voting time as the La Pryor FFA voting delegate.
