LP FFA Hosts District FFA Banquet

La Pryor FFA recently hosted the Wintergarden District FFA Banquet on April 10, 2008. La Pryor FFA hosted more than 10 schools from as far as Zapata to Lytle. Attending the banquet were over 90 FFA members including the District Officers and 1 Area Officer.
Cameron Temperton represented La Pryor as Treasurer for the District and Homer Avila became a newly elected officer for the Wintergarden District, representing La Pryor FFA at the District Level for the 2008-2009 elected year. Danielle Lopez represented the La Pryor FFA program by receiving the High Point Judging individual trophy in Horse Judging at District and 2nd High point at Area. The Horse Judging Team placed first at District and first at Area and advance to State for the second consecutive. The Greenhand Livestock Judging Team took the third place honors at district by competing with other teams across South Texas and judged over 17 classes.
Hats off to the La Pryor FFA members that competed at District, Area and at the State level.
