La Pryor ISD receives Gold Performance Acknowledgments

The 2008-09 Gold Performance Acknowledgments (GPA) which recognize district and campuses for high academic performance on various indicators has been released. Of the 1,224 districts evaluated, 78 percent earned one or more GPA. La Pryor is one of those districts that has been recognized for GPAs.
At the Elementary level, the campus was able to earn 2 acknowledgments out of 7 in the areas of Commended Improvement in Reading/ELA and Commended Improvement in Mathematics.
At the Secondary level, the campus was able to earn an acknowledgement in the area of Recommended High School Program/Distinguished Academic Program. In the all-students category, 86.4% of our students completed the recommended academic program.
Congratulations to both campuses for showing improvements and receiving recognition from the Texas Education Agency.
