Dr. William D. Arevalo comes to La Pryor after being in administration leadership in Dallas ISD and Texans Can Academies. He has been an educational leader for 11 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels and understands the challenges faced by educators today. He has served in education as a teacher, department head, assistant principal, principal and area network area team lead and has a strong background in instruction/professional development. Mr. Arevalo earned his Bachelors from University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in History & Secondary Education, Master in education administration from The University of Texas at Austin (UT) and a Doctorate from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Dr. Arevalo is an Instructional educational leader who strongly believes that all scholars deserve a quality education that will enable them to become well educated, productive, and economically independent members within our society. He is married to Alba Marrero who is also a career educator, they have three daughters, Alba, Deysha, Wren, and a granddaughter Kayley.
