Hi y'all! This is our last set of lessons for this school year! Woot woot! Some of you were very responsible this week and asked why we didn't have assignments posted. I gave everyone a "grace period" to get caught up on the past week's work. The attached lesson plan will be every assignment that will be counted in your last 6-week's grade.
Please read the lesson plan notes carefully, so you know what to do. As many of you already know, the campus buildings are officially closed, which means that there are no packets to pick up. Please do your best at viewing the documents in Google Classroom. If you are unable to complete the assignments in Google Classroom, then do them on your own paper...but be sure to email them or text them to me. I am unable to pick up any work in paper form, so everything has to be digital from this point on.
Many of you have incompletes from the last 6 weeks. Please get your work turned in. If you do not turn in completed assignments, you will possibly lose credit in the class and be required to retake the course as credit recovery. :/
Our assignments are all set to be turned in by Friday, May 1, 2020 (2 weeks from today). IF you do not have all your assignments turned in by then, you will continue working until Friday, May 14. However, if you have all work done, you are done May1!!!! Yay!
As always, know that I am missing you all like crazy & I am here for you. Just reach out!
Love, Mrs. Reyna
This is my fifteenth year as a teacher, and it is my fourth year with La Pryor ISD. I have taught one year of 6th grade, and thirteen years of high school Language Arts, ELL (English Language Learners), Spanish, Geometry, and Reading in the past. This will be my first year teaching Speech, and I am so excited to help our students become confident public speakers! I am originally from Kansas, but now I live in La Pryor and am quickly becoming a Texan! In my free time - what little free time I can find! - I love to read, walk/run with my dog (the cutest Corgi ever!), travel, and watch movies on Netflix. I am married with an almost two-year-old son and a seven-month-old baby girl. I am currently the sophomore class sponsor, Congress coach, and UIL coach for Informative/Persuasive Speaking and Prose/Poetry. I am excited for another great school year in La Pryor! :)
