First off, I would like to say welcome back and let y’all know how excited I am to start the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Vonda Pelton and I was born and raised in Carrizo Springs. I attended Tarleton State University where I received a degree in Agriculture. I have taught school for the last 27 years and have taught a variety of subjects from elementary Science, Spanish, ESL, and now Agriculture. Working with students and animals is my passion. Growing up as a Ag teacher’s daughter has had a great influence on my own career in Agriculture and is a part of why I am so passionate about it.
My husband, step-daughter, two daschunds and I live in Carrizo Springs. In my spare time, I enjoy barrel racing, hunting, and ranching cattle. I am excited to be part of La Pryor’s team and bring new ideas to the school. Hoping this is going to be a great year!
